Meet the Redefine Staff

Dr. Robert Cobb
Medical Director
Hi! I want to introduce myself. I’ve been a physician for over 30 years. I studied at West Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine, specializing in internal medicine. I have practiced as a hospitalist, owned and operated an internal medicine clinic, and worked in emergency medicine for most of my career.
In my years as a healthcare provider, I’ve noticed patients with chronic health conditions getting younger and prescription lists becoming longer. These statistics have been an increasing burden to me, leading me to pursue the opportunity to adjust my perspective and care for people before they reach the acute care setting. Being well is a multi-faceted concept and I pride myself in seeing my patients as a whole.

Ellen Cobb, BSN RN
Co-founder & CEO
Hello! Welcome to Redefine Wellness Institute. Robert and I met in 1993 while working on the med surge floor at Baptist South in Montgomery, AL. He had recently graduated from medical school and I was fresh out of nursing school. We have three children who have all somewhat followed in our health-driven footsteps. Each of them has joined us on this journey to help those along our path achieve a healthy lifestyle.
I am here to advocate on our client's behalves and to facilitate their journey to individualized optimal wellness. Our team members partner with our clients to assist each one in achieving realistic health goals that have been mutually set. Please join us to discuss redefining your health and vitality.
